Kevin Springer

kevin_springer_1PROSTAFF TEAM – KENTUCKY

Kevin considers himself to be blessed growing up in Western Kentucky and having Kentucky and Barkley Lakes as well as the Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers pretty much in his backyard. During his early years, he remembers spending many Saturdays and Sundays on the riverbank fishing with his family.

It was there his Dad passed along his patience and passion for fishing on to him. That same passion, combined with a highly competitive personality is what led Kevin to a local bass club where he learned the art of tournament bass fishing.

There are several charity events that Kevin participates in each year. One tournament raises money for the Ronald McDonald Houses by pairing pro anglers with people who donate money to compete for a great cause. The other is a Cops and Bobbers tournament that pairs handicapped and underprivileged children with pro anglers. This is truly a unique and wonderful experience for children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to experience all the wonderful thing nature has to offer.

kevin_springer_3kevin_springer_4Kevin is married and has three wonderful children. His children have inherited their parent’s competitive drive, competing in cheerleading, soccer and football. Even with everyone’s hectic schedule, Kevin tries to make time to spend on the water with them, where he can pass on the fishing tradition, just like his Dad did with him.
