PART 1: Yoga with a Casting Rod

Yoga - Spiritual and physical exercises to encourage health and well-being. A Hindu discipline aimed at achieving a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility. When I’m out on the lake, I usually fish as if I’m practicing for a tournament. I do this not because I’m practicing or want to be competitive, but because I want to be as efficient as possible.

PART 2: Bass Talk Are You Listening

Keeping what has been said in mind, all of your senses need to be wide open and receptive, because the fish will tell you where they are and what they. Hook A Kid

At the ripe young age of 3 or 4, my father took me on my first fishing trip. We went perch jerking in his old wooden, V bottom boat on the Lake of the Pines in East Texas. It was then that I took off down the hall where my parents found me in the bathroom with a bar of soap in hand, scrubbing those little guys. I’ve been hooked on fishing ever since.

I just can't bring myself to destroy something that I earn part of my living on.

Winter Bass Fishing Fix

Ok, the forecast calls for lows in the 20's and highs in the 30's. Winds will be 15-25 mph. Unless you are really on a great pattern and catching lots of bass fish or you have a tournament to fish, chances are you'd rather stay in the warm confines of your home than be out on the water. I know I would..

Wacky Worming

Over the last three years the most consistant bass fish catcher I have used has been the "Wacky Worm," a.k.a. "Jersey rig" or "Wacky Rig". The rig that most people look at and say how can that silly little worm catch anything? Well, once again it does not matter what we as the fisherman think looks good, but rather what Mr. Bass thinks that matters.

Conservation: Their Future In Our Hands

This subject is one that is close to my heart. Whenever I travel around the country or around Long Island, I am amazed by the plethora of beauty and wildlife.

Try to imagine the world without trees, flowers or birds. How would you describe that world to someone who has never seen it?
