Here's a quick and easy bass fishing tip to help you present your lure to suspended fish. Yeah... it's old school, but that's what makes it work so well. Were using a Keitech Fat Swing Impact 2.8" on a 1/4 ounce jig head and counting it down to a specific depth to trigger strikes from smallmouth bass that are keying in on open water baitfish.

After doing the review of Keitech’s Model 1 jigs this spring, I jumped at the chance when Brendan asked me to do another review of a Keitech product. This time it was a review of one of their soft plastic lines, the Swing Impact.
I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of a package from Bassin' USA that would have the KEITECH lures I had been asked to test and review. When the package finally arrived it was quickly opened……. Wow, the wait had been well worth it.
Branson Missouri, Table Rock Lake
Flooded Timber and Brush, Flooded Cedars, Morning Take off 7:00am, Partly cloudy then cloudy Skies,
3 – 5 Feet very muddy water.
After receiving a few of these Keitech Jigs for review I thought I would go out and give them a good testing on the flooded water of Table Rock Lake.
Products: Model 1 (Casting Jig), Custom Triler
Jigs are one of the top lures used to catch huge stringers of fish on Kentucky Lake and one of my primary go to lures on tournament day. When Brendan called and asked me if I would be interested in doing a product review of a new jig from Japan, my interest was definitely peaked. I knew what quality crankbaits were coming out of Japan, but was unsure what could be so great about a jig from Japan.
